Claying wheels/sealant

  Honda & VW
After claying wheels which product is best to apply after before applying wheel sealant or can this be applied directly after?

Polish lad. SRP, 203s, Lime Prime etc.

Wheels are painted, therefore (in short) care for them in the same way :) So wash, clay, wash, dry, polish, seal.

Obviously a hi temp sealent, however, due to the heat the brakes create. Something like Poorboys Wheel or FK1000p.

I have rim wax or something and its good for shine but doesn't seal too well. Loads of mates use Poorboys wheel sealant. Think this will be my next purchase.

Sod that! Proper clean, (Bilberry or Wheel brighener/tardis) and then wax! No need to clay or polish unless they are properly contaminated..And if they are, you'd be better off acid dipping & refurbing!!

What kind of contamination? Tar, brakedust, iron flake? If you know what it is, then i'm sure somebody will be able to suggest a product that ensures you don't grind and freeze your fingers off!!!

Lol. I was about to make a comment about the weather up your end, but as I've just been told we could get snow tomorrow, I'll keep schtum!

Tar and brakedust build up i imagine Ali, i am yet to fully inspect.
Using the bilberry i would guess i will be successful in removing the majority but should i need to get the clay out i am now happy with which products to be applying.
