A mate is giving me a lump of clay (really good £100 a tub stuff)
he said I need to buy some car detailer from halfrauds..for about £3
But I aint got a clue what to actually do...
could one of you lovely peeps qive a quick run down..thanks
100 quid clay ? It is normally the waxes that cost lots of money not seen a clay bar that expensive!
You can clay just using car shampoo and water or using a quick detail spray. If you don't buy any detailing spray mix 2 or 3 capfulls od car shampoo to 500 od ml of water in a spray bottle.
I think if he told you it was £100 he is lying...never seen anything for more than £15 for a huge bar...so have a word if they are making out they are doing you a massive favour.
Let me know how you get on..don't want to scratch that car of yours do you?!
Well he's giving it to me for nothing, (well I did make him cheese on toast..lol)
He had clayed his car about 3 months ago and it still looks soooo peachy..real depth in the colour. He said there was rubbish stuff for £10 which little bits come off...but his stuff was £100, He does paint spraying for a living.
At the end of the day its free.
Well, it might just be a bigger block, doubt it works any better than the products you can buy for a lot cheaper. The clay itself won't make your car any better though, if anything it will be slightly worse, it just cleans it properly so you can polish on a flat surface...
