cleaned car and it wont start

just cleaned my poxy car and now it wont start, any ideas, i can hear the fuel pump wining put when i turn the key nothing happens, no noises...nothing help me fast.ta

bollox, the immobiliser should be fine, the lights not flashing or owt.

Erm, Solenoid on Starter?

Put ya lights on - do they dim when you try and start it?

If nothing happens, it can either be:

a) Dodgy Ground, like, none..

b) dodgy ignition barrel?

c) dodgy solenoid...

Thats what i think anyway.. has it had chance to dry?

^^^ id go for that! amount of people ive heard sprayin there engine bay and forgettin to drain out there plugs!

water in the plugwells wont stop the starter from turning over.

Check the conections on it if its not even clicking.
