Cleaned, de-stickered, and de-carboned (56k make yourself a cuppa)

As I finished my final year project for uni yesterday, and with the weather being nice I thought I'd give my give my car a good clean.

Firstly I cleaned the car with Megs Gold Class and found a huge scrape on my front bumper >

After going at it with Megs Scratch-X, a bit of polish, and a lot of elbow grease I managed to get it looking like this (not perfect but a huge improvement)>

I and removed my window stickers and carbon B-pillars (tree sap had fcuked the laquer on them) >

With some more elbow grease I got to work removing some of the swirl marks (the right 1/2 of the arch has been Scratch-X'd and polished) >

Now that I've removed my window sticker and the B-pillars should I get rid of the stickers on the skirts to tidy things up?

Looks like some real elbow grease going on with that Scratch X.

The 1st pic simply doesn't show just how bad the scuff was. It was approx 1 1/2 feet long and a few inches wide. I was never gona get it out, but all the small scratches are gone. May try giving it another go tomorrow.

i love the colour..is it a special one?

No, its a standard colour, just dont tend to see it very often. There are a couple of other people on here with the same colour but its nice to have a change from black and silver Clio's lol. It is like black for cleaning though, looks amazing when washed, polished, and waxed, but a few days later and it appears filthy.

Tell me about it  lol

Looks like some serious work gone into the cleaning. How many coats of scrtach x did you put on the wing?

Lovely car, and lovely colour. Needs to be dropped, and my vote goes on the darker wheels without the chrome lip..

Cheers for all the comments guys

EvilJohn - I put 2 application of Scratch-X on. Its not as good as using a PC (plan on getting one in the summer) but it seems to have got rid of all the visable swirl marks on the wing.

Tyson-182 - Looking back at the PS's I agree with you, looks better without the polished lip.

I now need some smoked side repeaters, anyone know where to get hold of some as I only ever see clear one's?

Looking good. needs dropped though. I vote take the stickers off the side skirts, will make it look "cleaner" (if you know what i mean)
