There shocking from what ive heard, scratch your paint etc. Better with a proper towel from I4D imo.

Ah i see, ive been lucky enough to get behind the wheel of a FRP.
nippy to say the least, how do you think it would compare to a stripped out 172? as thats what im after now.

the missus raced davis88 182 cup and hes pulled away but that was at a rolling 60mph and the frp limits out at 120! ide like to see off the line just to see if there was much differnce in acceleration but the 182 was defo quicker mid/top end! (this was obviously done offroad )

ben ive found the autogylm aqua blades spot on. carnt really see how ide scratch the paint but then i suppose it how you use it. i love it tbf and its very quick for getting the water off as apose to a chammy.

You can scratch it by any trapped dirt that is on their. Yes you may have cleaned it but there could be something on the paint just before you drag the balde across..which results in scratch/swirled paintwork.

A decent drying towel is tons better. Ask in the detailing section and you'l see what reply you get

ok mate i see what you mean but after each flick of the blade i wipe it quickly to prevent that sort of thing. im poo at detailing to be fair which is why i want it to be a quick process as it bores me quickly but i do like the before and after pics .

Cars look clean but I couldn't live with the fact my girl drove one of them and I had a 1.2

lol if it was my first car then i would be annoyed but ive had my fair share of cars, well about 15 now so it dosent phase me much. ill be getting a track toy soon for the new year so all is good!
