Cleaning Exhausts Any Tips

Ive bought a second hand standard back box for the valver - its in really good nick but its just started rusting over at the pipe - Ive metal polished it and its come up really well but theres still a bit of stubborn rust leftover..

Anyone have any tips on getting rid of it?

0000 Grade wire wool and metal polish should remove it
