Cleaning PC

Whats the best way to get all the dust and crap from inside a PC out? I know someone that uses a hoover or a hairdryer but won't this damage components?

Quite random but my parents PC really needs to be cleaned.

hoover, beware of static damage maybe, or use a can of compressed air

I use an air compressor. Works well and does no damage that I know of. Only thing it does is get dust in your eyes and nose.... and clothes, hair, etc

i use a hoover all the time, just be carefull, i put a brush end on to the pipe which helps brush and suck up the dust.
