Cleaning pole positions

My pole positions are insanely difficult to clean, and I'm wondering how others have gone about it? There's dust and hairs that are stuck into the fibres which do not come out when vacuumed.

I've tried a dog brush and lint rollers to no avail.

My buckets are the same. They look filthy

Careful you don’t push down too hard, it’ll readily tear up fabric. I have two and have used them on my material sofa that seems to be magnetic to lint. It works, just be gentle.

I wet vac my Corbeau seats.

Different material to the Pole Positions, but it cleans them up well.

I second the wet-vac; I used mine on these Trendlines I picked up for cheap. Bought them at night without realising just how nasty they were. Thankfully I managed to clean them up!

Off topic, but enlighten me, how do you pull the thigh support out like that?

I just give it a big yank and they pull out

As far as I know there's no lever or button to release them, you just have to pull on them and they'll slide out to three different points on their rails. They're a bit stiff to pull out though, it helps to be sat on them rather than pull facing them.

Also keep an eye on the ends of the "combs" if using on something soft. If you press too hard and the surrounding material is higher, you can catch the cloth. But otherwise, a great tool. Good for getting cat hair off the stairs.
