What sorts of polish, waxes and sealants do all you guys use when cleaning the clio?

TBH I would concentrate on buying products which work well with the colour of your car.

It's oddessey blue so a pretty dark blue, what would you recommend for it?

Yeah it can get expensive but don't let that put you off. With detailing products a little goes a long way so whatever you buy will last ages!

I'd personally ignore that comment.

99.9% of products can be used on all colours, even the colour charged products. All comes down to personally preference.

Also people can't do lists mate. So many different products etc etc price, budget, all to be taken in to consideration.

I love gleaning info from them.

I've bought loads of stuff in the last couple of months and I'm now just waiting for the weather to warm up a bit so I can use them lol

If you are new to detailing, get your wash routine sorted first, then look at decontaminating the paint, follow this up with either a cleanser or glaze, followed by a sealant and wax.

Get yourself a wax safe Ph nuetral shampoo, wash mitt and drying towel. tar remover, maybe an iron remover, clay. Then I'd suggest a simple to use but effective all in one, autofinesse tripple topped with autofinesse toughcoat sealant. Will take minutes to aplpy but leave a lovely finish. not the most durable of combos but a good place to start.

cheers mate, ive done quite a bit of polishing and waxing, im just wanting to start going into detailing properly. thanks for the advice mate. glad there's other people the help
