Cleaning stuff without water?

Do them cleaning wipes without water scratch all the paintwork up?
Auto Express are doing a product test on them today and was wondering if they made scratches all ovar the bodywork when its covered in dust

i tried them on my last car and although it looked clean at first, once the sun hit it the next day you could see where id used it

If there was a Drought order in my area, I'd sonner leave the car for a couple of months dirty then scratch it all using them then,
