cleaning up inlet manifold

Im thionking off cleaning up/spraying the inlet manifold like may people on here have done. Just wondering the best way to do this and products used - preferably without taking it off

It needs to come off lol. I just painted mine with high temp stuff.

lol i know, was hoping there was a short-cut maybe a job for the summer. whats do you need? just high temp spray from halfrauds??

and whilst your there you may as well fit some PTFE gaskets to keep temps down... http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=262717

get some heatproof from Halfords indeed... I use some black stuff from motabits which gives a really nice dark grey type finish. If you want black you could also use bbq paint from B&Q I suppose.
