Clifford PAGER style alarm... who has one

who as one of the pager style alarms, im thinking about getting one for the vee, my car park at work is well with in the range of the pager, so i thought it good as its quite poorly lit and a dodgy area, i normally drive a nissan note to work which am not bothered about, but in summer al wanna take the vee

who has one, how much was it installed and are they recommenededded??:clown:

Had one on previous car fitted by the chap who owned it before, alarm never went off in the first week of ownership ( got fed up of carrying the silly pager thing around after that! ) so dont know if it worked.

Get one mate the ones done by clifford "SST 2 way with responder" are ok for about £250 fitted, although i know people who have said theyll go off every 5 minutes when they get to about 6 months old or until you replace a part of the alarm that cost him about £100.
Others togo for are TOAD alarms systems which i used to have and found them to be top notch, cant remember what model it is as it dont say on the fob but ive never had a problem with it an the remote start was awesom
