Climate control fan

Just bought a 172, it has climate control. the fan for the climate control doesnt seam to work, think it works on slowest but dosnt change when you change fan speed on climate control unit.
Can anyone help, hope its a easy fix and not the dash out!

More likely to be the resistor pack than the fan itself, as it is what dictates the fan speed.

thanks, been looking at loads of internet pages for the last few hours. most seam to have the fan go flat out. Going to check for loose conections first before going to buy a new one! Anyone know were best to buy a resistor pack from??

ive changed my resistor pack on my clio it works now but for sum strange reason it stays on lows speed even when the climate control is turn off any one no the reason for this thanks
