Climate control Issues- It's really driving me mad now!!!!...HELP!!!

Basically...

1. the external temoerature gaueg was faulty eg. +55 degrees, now its completely not showing anything.
2. since it went away, the climate control isn't working properly on AUTO mode, its freezing in the morning but it won't heat up or turn the fans on??
3. manual works, however, when i switch the car off and on again it shows high fan level but nothing happens

Are they linked together or do you think i need a new sensor near the roof and interior lights?

Someone please help as its driving me mad now, plus its bloody cold!!!

don't think their connected, my ext temp is readin 49Deg atm...The climate control runs off the wee fan in the centre roof light bitty...

could be a loose conection in the back

do you mean the back of the air con unit? if so how do i get to the back of it?? seems like its tightly packed in!!
