Not the environment but my car!
Basically it's not blowing cold, things I've done are :checked the cogs in the footwell which are all good and you can hear the clunk when ac is on. The fan by the interior light runs so no problem there.
What I do know is the pump clutch isn't engaging. I've been told to bridge the pressure switch terminals but don't know which of the three to bridge to check it runs.
I'm at my wits end and Herefordshire isn't the best place for ac specialists.
