This was a very strange accident. I has on a road with three lanes that lead to the M62 or towards Normanton, all lights are on green and this metallic red Citroen Saxo VTR starts swerving between lanes. I just thought It was some thick tw*t that didnt know which lane he should have been in so I hung back a little. He then stayed in the same lane as me for a few seconds so I thought that he must be staying in that lane but all of a suddon he decides to slam the anchers on for no reason at all. I do the same so that I dont hit the idiots car and miss it easily by over a rulers length. Next thing I know theres a bang and the car jerks forward abit and I just thought he we go again...
The saxo stays for a split second and realises what hes done (two young lads in the front and two young girls in the back) and sped off leaving me and the driver behind to sort out all the mess. Didnt get the tits plate which was annoying cos I would have liked to see him go down for dangerous driving and leaving the scene of an accident!
I couldnt be mad with the guy behind me in the green nissan almera because it wasnt his fault really even though he should have kept his distance because it seemed almost stag managed.
Looks like im claiming off the drivers car behind me. The coppers turned up a few mins later and I told them about the Saxo but he wasnt interested and told us to move somewhere better to exchange details. Luckily I got his details and he acknowledged that the saxo driver was to blame so he was ok with it. He wanted to just get his car repaired and not go through insurance because it appeared to look as though the only damage was a little dint in the boot lid. Experience tought me to look a bit closer so I went to see if the boot lid would open and it did but I noticed that the boot carpet was raised and the boot was crumpled in by about an inch so I knew straight away that it was an isurance job. My tyres are scraping on the bumper on corners so thats deff fecked. Just waiting for a date now to see when they can repair it.
