agreedmajority of problems are down to bad fueling people sticking in a bleed valve and turning up the boost without matching the fueling
even more agreed :rasp:Issue I would have is the fact that the car you're pulling it out of is a better looker. I'd sell your car and try to find a tidy 5 turbo personally.
Nothing wrong with the c1j out of the r5 gtt cheap to repair and modify they just need to be looked after majority of problems are down to bad fueling people sticking in a bleed valve and turning up the boost without matching the fueling
Define better though the gtt is a good engine strong and reliable and easy to wire up1.8 16v would be my choice, the F7P is a much better engine.
.............. isnt this thread for actual projects and not silly questions :nono:
agreed and as said loldo the F7P.
Wrong section, this isnt a project.
would argue the fact cheap to repair just one example if the clutch goes and you dont know what your doing its easily £400 sheets
but best bet just but a 5 gtt if you want the boost wouldnt bother converting your car tbh
a £400 clutch change on a F7P/F7R would be a cheap job at most garages !
