Been ragged like a carrot by some muppet that used to come on here.

You can tell from the "eats MR2s and Evos" what kind of life its had. Thats where I stopped reading...

What you did there, i like that

Appreciates the smaller details in life!

  Works...kind of...
Probably "cheep insurantz innit cus down as 1.2 on logbook"

If it were a sleeper I'd get it, but it's not.

i agree and what looks like a lovely car, not many white sports around, but 4500?? you could get a trophy for that money these days. I do see the point in doing it if you own a 1.2 and fit a 2l in because im planning on doing it with mine soonish but when selling it you have to price is competitively against other sports

im thinking of doing the same to my replica. i would rather have it built not bought, makes it more special in my eyes. Who are you going to get to do the conversion or are you doing it yourself?

Fcuk me, where do I start....

Built not bought, then you're going to pay someone to fit a 2.0 engine into a clio that was already built with a 2.0 in it?????

The concept, you don't grasp it.

Personally I like throwing money at people and then telling them what to do. Why damage my soft hands :D

IIRC owner was/is a complete bellend. As for the car why buy a bodged together wannabe when you can get the real thing for the same price? You'd be an idiot to spend the same on a converted car as it'll be worth less come the time you come to shift it on. In short avoid.

It would be cheaper to buy a 172 and fit 1.2 bodywork and wheels. Then the other underpinnings are at least sorted as well.
