Had to call the AA out tonight for my brothers car.

Engine turns over when you turn the key but doesn't start.

The AA bloke had his little Volt meter out to test the voltage and there was only power going to the ECU on the main feed. Everything off the ECU didn't have anything. Checked all the fuses and checked plugs and all the normal things.

We think it's a loose earth lead or poss the immoboliser (not sure if it has one)

All the lights and electrics work on the car.

Any Clue ?

When trying to start is teh red light in the middle of the dash flashing quickly? If so its the immob, try the spare key

this happened to mine too, turned out that the fule cut off switch in the ignition bay was pressed for some reason lol

defo not the immo cause the light goes out after 3 seconds with both keys.

so must be either a fault ECU or an earth lead !

time will tell the mora !

found the problem !!!

Stupid little thing !

a wire had worn and the core was touching the car body and shortin it out.

Stopping the car starting !!!!!!!!!

Daft french car lol

never mind i nailed a golf gti in mine tonight !
