Clio 1.5 dci 2002 cold start wont rev and idles rough for 10 seconds

Hi to all, My first post so if i have got it wrong please dont shout lol, i have a clio 1.5dci 2002, i have had it for about 3 months and every thing seemed to be ok until the cold weather started, I HAVE A clio 1.5dci 2002, changed crankshaft sensor, cleaned egf valve, new temp sensor, new glow plugs, whats happening is when started from overnight it starts but revs are only about 300 rpm and it will not rev for about 10 seconds, then it runs fine for the rest of the day, if you think you can help please , please also i have tried pumping fuel blub a few times before i start engine.

Had diagnostics yet? If so, maybe a good place to start before splurging out on guesswork guided by "The internet"

If I had to guess, it sounds like either an EGR position fault, fuel pressure/regulation fault OR a fault with the glowplug heater relay but they're too complex to guess with i'm afraid so start by getting it on a proper diagnostic rig... I'd advise letting the garage have it over night to if it only manifests at true cold start otherwise you may not get what you're paying for.

hi mick, many thanks for your reply, no i haven had a diagnostics yet, going to sort out something next week, i have tested the relay and glow plugs this morning and all seems fine, have you any idea how to test the egr valve, i have taken it off and cleaned it well.
