clio 1.5 diesel engine

My 1.5 diesel is a really loud car, I'm not too sure whether it should sound how it does or if i need to do anything to make it a little a little quieter,
I had it passed down to me from 2 previous female sensible owners,
wondering if anyone could help me out

very vague! you got a video so we can tell you if its normal or not?

if the long fabric type hose going from the airbox to the front of the battery is torn it will be a bit louder than it should

Bet the air box locating lug is broken, common and makes it vibrate real bad.

I can upload a video tonight of it, i dont think anthing is torn as far as im aware of either.
