Clio 1.6 16v ECU failure

I have a 1.6 16v clio, and ive had a some weird problems recently, my car starts with no issue, and start running as always, but as soon as the working temp is reached, the car just stops, and it doesnt turn on again until it cools down, the guy at the dealers shop said that the computer isnt working anymore, and that it doesnt send the right signal to the gas pump so that is why it stops flat.

Any ideas? im doubting is the computer ECU, but if this was the case, can it be repaired?
