Clio 172 after 33k

Found out the clio i'm after had a service at 31k costing around £400 where the AUX belt was replaced. The cam belt hasn't which is why he has put the price down to £5650. I'm going to try get it down to £5550 but all in all would cost 5900/6k as will need to get cam belt done asap.

Once cam belt is done will the car be fine for a good while before major things occur??

if the cars been looked after, then apart from general wear and tear, should be pritty.

^ apart from all the servics etc it will need mate, but yes check all bits and bob befoire hand post pics up on here as the lads generally find faults and put all milage age service etc up

had my 36000 mile service with new aux belt and cam belt done at renault manchester £900 main dealers allways charge more. Cam belt kit alone cost £128 BETTER than paying £5000 for a new engine when the belt snaps and hand grenades the motor

Thats a bit unfir there loads of good priced dealerships out there many of them can compete with normal garages and know what there doing unlike the have a go garages who think they know what there doing.

If the place doens't have the proper tools or hasn't done one before don't go there to many good garages have ruined the 172 engine.
