Birchdown have a courtesy van, I didn't want my 172 back after driving it. It actually has suspension not just axles welded to the chassis :rasp:

car been in garage today. got a call at about 11 o'clock saying he couldnt do it due to this special tool required, but he said he had done 172s before but it maybe becasuse my car has air con?

anyway fair play to him he rang up straight away and apologised and said he didnt want to work any further and said he'll hold his hands up saying he cant do it. didn't charge anything either,which i dont think he should of done anyway, which was nice of him. still a genuine old polite mechanic though.
