Yep, I've read that too that the 172 cats are more restrictive.
182 cats are 200 cell, not sure what the 172s are though.
I was considering a decat pipe with silencer but I assume it'll be pretty loud and a warning light will come on my dashboard so I think I will avoid buying one unfortunately
I wouldn't worry about the light but yeh it will be loud as hell lol.
My ktec stealth does my head in with the cat in so I woudnlt like to think how loud it would be with a decat.

Mines the unsilenced version though. I think the one with a centre section will be much more friendly
That's good then as I just bought the silenced stealth with silenced mid section (cat is being retained)
