Clio 172 cup stalling

Every time I dip the clutch of late in my 172 cup, it keeps stalling all the time. Not sure what could be the problem here. Help would be much appreciated.

check the crank sensor on the bell housing of the gearbox, and clean might help

does it battle to start? normally if the crank sensor is dirty it will have intermittent starting problems...

Mine keeps doing this, it gets really lumpy when sat at idle for more than about 10 seconds,when it's up to temp. The revs drop down, sometimes it catches it and others it just dies.

It never has a problem starting though,hot or cold and the crank sensor was new a couple of years ago.

Thanks guys, I also did some searching on the forum and some said about the throttle body may need cleaning inside as well. So I did that as well as the crank sensor. Took it for a drive this afternoon, perfect! very pleased with that.
