Clio 172 Cutting Out

I bought my Clio last week and suprise suprise I have got problems already!

I;m gonna take it back to the stealers tomoz but want to see if anyone on here has had similar problems so I can give them an idea.

Basically, as i'm coming to a near stop at stuff like roundabouts and junctions the engine is cutting out. It does not stutter or anything just stops and goes to ignition. It starts up perfectly after that.

The petrol light has just come on and i'm wondering if there is a problem with the fuel pump or somat?????

How much fuel is in it?

What age engine is it?

Do you have any dash light and funny running?

Its a 53 plate with 25k on with FSH.

The car runs fine and there are no warning lights or anything on the dash.

Petrol light just came on so thats how much juice there is in.

Could be the TDC sensor or a MAP sensor.

Depends how mecahnical you are both are easy enough though. TDC is dead easy only 2 bolts.

But you need to find out the exact issue could be a dirty/blocked/faulty throttle body there not cheap but can often just be cleaned up.
