clio 172 emissions light on?

hey this my first post so be kind lol just noticed that my emissions light is on it wasn't on when i parked up then come out started car and didn't go out anyone no what i sohuld do cheers

i has this problem on ma 1.2, i wernt really sure what it was, but i had the wrong oil in mine, i changed the oil and its gone out? but i found it kept poppin on and off.

Mine likes to say hello now and again. It hasn't affected the performance of the car so I just ignore it!

Mine came on it was the 'knock' sensor, also known as pinking sensor.

It was caused by using crap Petrol, code will clear after 10 starts of fault not being detected I believe, I had the code cleared and chucked some V Power in there

I went to a Specialist and he cleared it for free, I have an OBD II Scanner now so I can do it myself.

Could be a little low on oil..my came on the other day and it was very low.

Also could be a sensor..I had the light on because my o2 sensor had gone.
