and the trouble with a diesel is yeah they are better for fuel, but they arent as fast, sound no where near as good, and they cost more to buy initially than a petrol car imo

Hmm disagree in "fastness" unless it is a performance car, i'd rather a 1.5DCI than any other of the none sport petrols.

Diesels are also worth more than equivlent petrol when you come to sell.

RS clios sound crap to out of the box.
