clio 172: manifold to cat fitting - vibrations

Hi there guys.
I just install the cat from ktec to the manifold and now when i am accelerating i have vibrations inside the car.
is it something wrong with the springs and the bolts?

Sounds like it is vibrating off the subframe. Can you see/feel if there is clearance all the way round the joint?

i looked at it and you are right. under heavy accelerator on 1st and 2nd gear it touches the subframe.
perhaps i should buy the ktr exhaust behind the cat and i think it will stop hitting the subframe.

Try the free fix first. Loosen off your top engine mount and pull the engine forward a bit and nip up again.

Go for a drive and see how it is.

The flange on the cat should be cut away slightly to clear the subframe. Was it?
