Clio 172 MK1 - Removal of air vent/stereo silver surround??

Can anyone advice me how to remove the silver surround of the air vent/stereo of Clio 172 MK1??

They will tell u it wont come out as its plastic welded/riveted in. But it does.

Its held in by 4 screws iirc. easy to do as i had the dash out, i reckon it would be tricky with the dash in as you need to pull out the rivets. no need to replace them as the screws hold it ok

Thanks, but how can I get to the screw/rivet area? They are covered by the grey panel fascia.
And, do I need to remove the stereo first?

its screwed in from behind. probably need to take the whole dash out
