hi all i have a 172 2004 and it will not spark i have took the inlet pipe off and i smell petrol. i took a lead off the coil and fitted a test light in line and nothing .

hi do you know eny one with good service info to get my 172 up and going ?

If the coilpack isn't producing any voltage, put a new one in and see if that cures the issue. I'd imagine the petrol smell would be due to unburnt petrol in the cylinders.
