clio 172 remap

Yes, it won't make the 'world' of difference but it'll be a lot more driveable. No need for uprated anything..

Is it worth it? Just got a 172 and I was considering a remap. It is standard but I'm not a big fan of loud exhausts at all so would like to keep it that way.

RSTuner fastchip map will sort out the lumpy idle, cold starts and smooth out the 5k kick,
but on a standard car don't expect a power increase.

Cheers for the heads up and sorry for thread jacking! Guess i'll stick with standard for now then although may lower about 35mm and try to upgrade the sound system slightly

I have the RS tuner remap on mine and it has made it much more responsive and better to drive, although not really noticed any real high end power change. However if you buy one you can sell it on after which makes it a fairly cheap option and well worth it IMO.

I wouldnt want a 172 without an RSTuner remap, made more power at RR days than 182's!

RS Tuner map really helps at the bottom of the rev range but does very little for peak power, neither does any other map on the standard engine.
