Posting on behalf of a friend. When his clio 172 hits the rev limiter car goes into a kind of limp mode and it sticks around 2000 rpm. The light on the centre of the dash comes on and the throttle pedal does nothing until the cars turned off and on then it works fine again. Anyone ever had that before or know of what's making the car do this?
