clio 172 running very lumpy

Hi guys as above I was on my way home tonight and the car became very lumpy all of a sudden wen I put the foot down the car just becomes lumpy and the eml light flashes when I let off it goes out but the car is still lumpy on idle any help would be great guys

hook it up to a scanner as see what error code you get , then post the code up.

The light only comes on wen I put the accel down then goes out wen I take it off

I've got exactly the same issue (although my power is way down too).
The car's in the garage at the moment being looked at, but I'm guessing an ignition or lambda sensor problem.

Sounds like a coilpack/lead/plug/injector failure.

Got the car scanned today and code p0136 came up would this make the car run very lumpy on accel and idle

New leads and plugs fixed it for me

New injector fixed it for me runs sweet now and mpg is up!!
