Clio 172 starter Problem

I Currently own a 172 sport and have a problem, i tried starting it the other day and it just kept going nah,nah, nah, nah nah then when it finally came on my zenon light on one side would work only twice its happened to me, so i turned them off and back on then the other would work without the original working and vice versa.any suggestions? its only done 26k

Sounds like software - dealer visit.

tdc sensor / bad connection on starter / ecu / UCH control unit ?? take your pick - as telford mike states, you need to get it on the renault CLIP diagnostic computer and get a diagnosis.

Is the battery in your key going flat? I used one of my spare keys the other day and I don’t think it had enough power to turn the immobiliser off. It would turn over a couple of times then stop. The light on the dash was going nuts as well.
