Clio 172 X reg New clutch needed

Has anyone had the clutch changed on a Clio Sport 172? How much was it?
I have been quoted 1000 pounds?

bag of sand your getting bent over there. 3-500 is a realistic price including a gen clutch

as 16_jon says. Theres no way it should be around the £1000 mark - wherever you went to probably just didn't want to do the job.

speak to Mardi gras Motorsport at Silverstone, they race in the clio cup championship, i'm sure they'd do it

I called "Mr Clutch .. "And they have quoted me 375 inc VAT thats more like it.. so its going next wednesday..

STAY THE FECK AWAY FROM MR CLUTCH!!!!!!!

They are a bunch of muppets. A Quik Fit fitter is an F1 mechanic by comparison.
They use reconditioned clutches as well.
Do yourself a bit favour and cancel the appointment.

yes they use re-con clutches, they re-cycle ones they remove.
