Clio 182 BG paint correction

  BMW E46 330ci Sport
I finally got myself motivated enough to give the Clio a good clean both inside and out. Its so nice knowing your car is sitting outside shining and looking brand new. Well it would look brand new apart from the imperfections. Now I'm not sure how to deal with them. If anyone could point me in the right direction for products and methods to use.

This is the first issue. It looks like someone opened their car door on the rear quarter panel on the drivers side. It is a series of parallel paint marks on the paint with some scratches.

This is the second issue. Looks like the owner before me stuck a total sticker on which was then removed with something sharp. I would like to know how best to treat these scratches and some other shallow ones around the car. I did try to photo the other scratches but it was too sunny and my iPhone didn't seem up to the task. My paint looks like a mirror and not black at all.:S

Thanks for the reply. I actually didn't see the detailing sub forum some how. I should of posted this thread in there.

I did look through but couldn't see anything referring to similar problems. Would i want to use a cutting polish to try and get the paint off and scratches out? Would i polish the whole car and is polishing a permanent fix for scratches or just temporary?
