Just noticed even when my car is locked the boot can still open, is it possible the motor has gone or has the central locking on the boot been disabled? Cheers

Solenoid in the boot mechanism, it's very common and not expensive to fix.

Tell him your boot won't lock with the other doors
and he'll know exactly which part to send you.

Boot solenoid, it's a small part that's easy to replace.

Anyway of temp locking it until I get the new part?

Yes should be able to, take the black internal plastic cover off, shut the boot, climb inside and push the metal lever/rod down and this will lock it.
