clio 182 brakes

hi ppl...i have a clio 182!..my problem is that when im racing other cars just a little sprint when i go to brake heavily it does not stop me one bit..its like there is somethink behind the brake pedal stopping press any harder....is this my ( abs ) or is it my disc are too hot!...just need a way round this cause il end up going into the back of some one!!

Racing on the street ?? Nice skills lol. We'll ignore that for now.

You still runnig standard discs & pads ?
Are they a bit worn now ??
Have you checked your brake fluid level ?
If so, is it ok ? I'd look at getting it changed though.

If your discs & pads are a bit screwed (which it sounds like) You might want to upgrade them, folk on here go with ferodo ds5200 pads (it might be 2500 though I don't remember)

If your abs was kicking in you'd feel it on the brake pedal, sounds like your brakes are sh*gged, you've been cooking them & the brake fluid isn't as good as it should be (you've probs cooked that too)

Stop racing folk until your sorted before you stuff it (racing on the st is dodgy anyway)
