clio 182 cruise control switch not sticking in

Had my 182 a few weeks now and the cruise control switch seems a bit dodgy. Sometimes when i try to click it up to go onto cruise control it will just go back to the middle and the green light will go straight off. other times it will work fine.

Exact same issue when clicking it down for the speed limiter aswel.

Is it just a dodgy switch you think? How much are they?

When i do manage to get it to stay clicked up it works perfectly fine.

Will just be a broken clip probably, take the panel off and have a look.

yeah I would say it is the switch, as they stay in that position to work, like you said. And I doubt that Renault are clever enough to make to switch go back to the middle if the cruise control fails

Scrap yard to if you have near by

nice1, thats great typan exactly my problem.

Ill give it a go today, but im not too technical apart from with audio so ill probably end up needing a new switch lol.

ive had about 4 posts and found something useful already. The guide in that link worked a treat and now it clicks in fine everytime, so simple lol.
