Clio 182 Handling issues

  Evo 5, Impreza wrx
I've recently just put my 182 back on the road and its seems to have generated a serious handling issue, Feels like the back on the car is floating around. Ive booked it in to Hypertech for a check over but in the meantime I have had a quick look under it and one of the rear shocks is soaking wet.

So my question is wheres the best place to get a set of rear shocks from ? Or is there a better option ?

i seen a set of genuine ones on eBay but dont want to ripped of as everyone knows that sometimes eBay is not always the best place to go. Anyone know the price of these from Renault themselves ?

Cheers Ross

Pretty sure they are £50 each from Renault, I had the same issues when I first got my 182 and replacing the rear shocks made the world of difference!

Wests Renault on here or seems a lot of people are using a guy called Adam now who apparently is very good for genuine prices. Think he is called 'left site' on here.

Only worth upgrading if your doing the fronts as well plus springs in my opinion.

But yeah, ruined rear shocks make the rear horrible.

Thanks for the quick responses, ive seen a set gen shocks on ebay for £70 so i think i will snap them up.

Whats the best lowering springs and best ride height to go for ?

Eibach pros are a great spring.

Although a lot of people seem to be rating the new cooksport springs. Although never tried them myself.

Just avoid apex and you'll be fine.
