Clio 182 - my opinion.

Thanks to renault crashing my car (okay, they scraped it!) I'm having a whole new front bumper & spray free of charge! Six years of stone chips and scuffs - GONE! I am paying them to do the bonnet though but couldn't have one without the other really.

At least you are having it all done super cheap in the scheme of things, I'd give the bloke a pat on the back!

It is amazing, wasn;t sure how I would react to it, but I think it's safe to say after my short stint in a german car (which was awesome but something was missing) I am definately at home in a rattly french matchbox

The insurance at 19 is definately worth it!

Totally different league to a 1.2.... Not just the speed. I find it amusing following old barges into corners and they stand on the brakes but you can cruise straight though without touching your brakes at faster speeds.

Do a couple of 30 - 90 rolling starts (on a runway of course - windows slight down) from 2nd and see how big that smile gets.

What do you think of the 5k kick?

Really noticeable! Even managed to persuade one mate who is well into his cars that it had a turbo on it!!

Picked up my 182 today, and oh my god it is fricking awesome!

Everything about it is amazing, handling, speed, economy. The car is everything and more than what I expected.
Just love it!

I think it is pretty safe to say this car will be staying for a good amount of time, actually can't wait until tomorrow so I can drive to work!!!

Going from my 1.2 to a 182 is the best thing. As much as i loved my 1.2, they 182 is everything the 1.2 is but better.

I've just gone from a rover 25 1.4 to a 172 cup and it's great For me, the best thing is throwing it into corners with little bodyroll!

I went from a heavy 1.8 escort gti to a 172, and it still even now (month on sunday) later, it feels really quick! specially in twisties! and am still impressed with the brakes!
