Clio 182 Running Issues

Car  Clio 182
Really hoping someone can help me, I have been in contact with Renault specialists local to me but they are booked up until October.

Little back story, I had a poor running car (hesitation and felt like it was cutting out) but I changed leads, plugs and coil pack and that seemed to help for about a month or two but now I have a new issue where it feels like a misfire. The symptoms are most noticeable around 2-3k rpm and the revs seem to drop briefly and return. Under full load it seems ok? Or it could just be less noticeable.

I have since changed the map sensor and checked all the leads again, just incase one was caught when I put the manifold back on.

The exhaust does seem to have a bit of a rattle, and maybe a small leak as the exhaust fumes are quite strong at idle.

Has anyone got any ideas on what this could be? It’s my daily car so I am a bit stuffed without it but it’s scary to drive at the moment.

Injectors can cause a misfire, ones Iv had go the misfire is there all the time so was easier to diagnose by disconnecting one at a time and seeing if engine changed. If no change then that was the culprit.
Maybe a bit harder for you if it isnt there all the time.
Other way to check them is with a multimeter and measure resistance

I did previously change one injector as it was leaking. Might be worth me changing the others. Is it safe to run the engine with the injector disconnected?

Check inside the fuse box in the engine bay (right side as you look at the engine) There is a large white plug which you can check. I had a misfire and found that it was moisture inside this plug. I dried it out and put some dielectric grease on it and the misfire went. I'd give the fuse box a check over and make sure that nothing else is loose, wet or corroded.
