Clio 182 Service Cost

Hello,

I'm about to service my 182 (with A/C) (24000 miles service) and have been ringing round for quotes. I rang 3 main dealers and have gotten 3 very different prices:

Garage 1 = £367.00
Garage 2 = £523.33
Garage 3 = £203.30

Can anyone who's had this service done tell me how much they paid?

I've not got a 182, but my 3/4 closest main dealers all give me a variation of quotes like that.

WTF!??? I asked Rentech for a quote a while back and it was nowhere near those quotes, two of them are ridiculous.

£200 isn't that bad for a main dealer IMO.

Before I called I figured it would be around the 200 quid mark. Was just shocked at the prices I was being quoted, especially Garage 2 ( Ev Hal) and you wonder why people lose faith in dealers!!

Because at 5 years it needs CAM belt.

It was 3 years old in Feb -so 24000 miles still pretty new

just paid 230 for my 24k service at main dealer, think they do the cabin filters or somert. The Ev Hal one wont be cambelt as i asked the dealer how much they charge for that and its £802 - needless to say wont be getting that done at a main dealer!

Luckily I have a mate that works in a main Renault dealer and got a full service for £60! True what they say. . . its not what you know its who you know.

Im in newcastle as well, 24000 cost me 200 without the air filter from scotswood road renault stealers.
Just wait till you 60000, £1100 for the general maintenance and the cam / aux belt, pullys and tensioner.
There is a renault specialist in the town that are alot cheaper, i will check my messages and get back to you with the name, number.

I'm based in SE London and need to get my 182 an MOT and 60k service. Can anyone recommend somewhere decent? Am thinking Kent/Essex would be the place to avoid high london prices. All help appreciated.

24k Renault advise brake fluid & coolant change

For my Cambelt,Tensioners and Aux and a full service (all filters) it cost me £550, this was by far the cheapest of any of the robbing b******s that are Renault quoted, ill never go back to renault for parts!
