Clio 182 Sport - Totalled

Car  alfa romeo 3.00 164 Clove
I need some help and guidance, please!

I have a 04 Clio Sport 182 which has rolled - not once, but several times. I doubt whether there is a single undamaged panel or piece of glass. BUT, it still drives. The interior is fine, as are the wheels, exhaust etc.

Now, what are my options? Will the running gear fit earlier models? Can I buy a cheap shell somewhere? Who can help me? Is there a kit car which will suit all the running gear? Who can give me words of comfort and point me in the right direction?

Many thanks. :dapprove:

Insurance?

I'm sure a shell is an option, some guys on here may even be able to supply a shell.

Why arent you telling the Insurance?

They will replace it. Unless you have and are buying it back just for the engine.

He might only be insured 3rd party? :S

buy a 98 clio 1.2 - swap the running gear over and run it as a sleeper. You can pick one up for under £500 with a blown engine.

If I recall any car worth that amount you CANNOT insure third party

Unless I am wrong. Sure I read that!

Tis a good idea, sure its less hassle than a Mk1 as well.

Its easily done - you can graft a 2002 > new shape front end on very cheaply and with a 172 grille and a set of nice wheels you will have a nice run about

abremner, if this is the cup version I may be interested in the suspension (coils, dampers, etc) if they are OK.

To backtrack a little here... What the hell did you do so wrong that you rolled it several times? Are you sure you should ever drive a car with more than 50hp ever again??

go backtrack your mumma.
