Clio 182 throttle body issues!!!

Hi guys n girls, im new to the site and need some help and advice please. After reading through and looking into it more I have come to the conclusion I have throttle body issues. Basically my car is struggleing when first started cold to accelerate to 3000 rmp and runs abit sloppy when idle however when its warm it runs fine hence the throttle body conclusion from reading other posts on the site. What I need assistance with is 1) how to I disconnect all the sensors and airbox to get to the throttle body and 2)how is best to clean it. Im looking for an idiots guide as I am getting better with the diy mechanics but im by no mean competent yet.lol. Any advice or help would be great. Thanks in advance for the help and guidance. Could be lambda.....mine did that, rotten when cold, fine when warm.
Do you have any lights on the dash or error codes?

No mate no warning lights or nothing just the lag on acceleration. You recon its worth cleaning the throttle body out anyways and then obviously if that's not the problem changing the sensor?.

Yep. Removing throttle body is piece of piss...remove airbox and elbow, disconnect the jubilee clip and then its 4 torx bits and its off. Just remove all the connections from it.

Iv just been outside and had a cheeky peak with a torch it looks pretty easy like. N then I just clean it with an old toothbrush, rag and some mentholated sprits yeh?. I think I can do this (he says with a hesitant look on his face.lol) Cheers Don

I got the same thing on my Cup. No codes no dash lights, sh1t on idle, it struggles with any acceleration upto 3k and second its warm runs perfect. Mine never starts on the first go though, always the second. It's bloody strange and annoying. Hope you find a fix

Sounds like you've got the same issue as me mate to be fair. Just try what Don said seems to know what he's goin on about its all the same if you read through the google results. Good luck getting it sorted

Yeah have tried it mate lol Tb cleaned, Lambda sensor, temp sensor. No luck as yet. Been told it maybe faulty wiring or Knock sensor. Yeah you too

No iv been busy will be doing it next week mate. Knocking sensor isent a hard one to sort but wiring....:/ where to start ey.lol. I will keep you posted when iv looked into it more.
