Thinking about getting a clio 182 for the winter, seen one on pistonheads

Thats a decent price if its had the belts done. I paid £6k for mine just over a month ago. Mine had the belts done the day I bought it though

Seems a good price. Check the service history for belt changes.

I spoke to the chap and he said cambelt isnt due until 72 k? Aux belt and tensioner done at 40k

Its due at 5 years.

Its quite an expensive job (£500) so something to factor in.

They must be on here at "Full Fat" is a made up ClioSport term! lol..

Aux belt needs done at 36k which has been done at 40 so should be ok. Cam is indeed 72 but most get them done at the same time as aux for the sake of it.

seems like a fair price for the milage and condition, i just payed 6k for mine and thats done just over 30k

I paid a little more for my 172, it's on an 04 plate and has 13k less miles though. The Belts were done in with the price and I was given the receipt (£450 trade price for belts) from the garage.

My car is May 2004 car and it was 5years and 1month old and had covered 39k miles when the belts were done. As mentioned (by someone who knows a hell of a lot more about these cars than me), the belt is due should be changed at 5years if the 72k mmiles mark aint reached.
