It's definitely cheap, but early 197's are cheap now anyway. If you got it for 2800 cash then fair play, but if you got it for 3200 as they've suggested, then spend 1k getting it right for sale then that'll be 4.2k spent. A quick gander on AT, PH and the like would suggest you can actually pick up a pretty tidy early 197 with FSH and similar perhaps even slightly lower milage than the one you're looking at for around 5k. Given you'd be selling with no service history, then expect to sell it a fair few hundred below the market rate for one with FSH. Maybe there's 500 quid in it, but by the time you take the time, pay fee's and the like...
