Clio 197/200 squeaky Brakes?

Are squeaky brakes the norm with all of them?

My cup chassied 197 seemed to come with and keep hold of the squeaky brakes for the few years I had it and now my 200 seems to have exactly the same issue.

There is absolutely no problems with the way the cars have stopped so I put it down to brake dust but is this the case?

Had the same problem with mine but after stripping and cleaning and little copper grease in the right places it has totally disappeared.

My 197 has the occasional squeak from the brakes. Usually when I first use it after it has chucked it down with rain but I've only heard a squeak from them 4 times in the 13 months I've owned it.

Rear calipers have been known to squeak on these.
